Hi! It's Me!

Hi! I'm Shawna Flager and I'm so glad that you've stopped by. Let me tell you a bit about me.

I'm orignially from Louisiana, not the cool part that you might know, but from a small town right smack in the middle of the state, Alexandria. I have spent all of my adult life in Florida, first Tallahassee and now St. Augustine.

I started my career in Information Technology in 1995 and have not looked back, though I certainly went through some hard times. Layoffs and economic downturns in the tech sector happen and I learned to diversify myself as a person which is where I found my love of health and fitness.

I was part of a ownership group of a gym for a few years, working to improve marketing, membership rates, and managing our staff. It was an amazing experience and my first forey into small business ownership.

I have over 5 years of coaching experience both in corporate and individual settings. I currently hold an ICF ACC certification. My certifications require that I have 500+ hours of coaching and I am currently working on my Professional Coaching Certification through ICF (PCC).

I have always been one to volunteer and now that I've fully settled into St. Augustine, FL, I've made it a priority to give back to the community. As an ally, I am currently serving as a board member of House of Prism, the local resource for the LGBTQIA+ community. In addition, I am this year's co-chair for the North East Florida Equality Florida steering commitee, of which I've been a member for almost 4 years.

I am an advocate for all human rights and believe we all deserve to be seen, heard, and have access to live as our authentic selves without discrimination. I abide by the Ethical Standards of ICF.

I feel my values and beliefs as a human lends itself well to coaching and I hope you will give me a chance to help you reach your goals and overcome your challenges.
